“Source” is a photography magazine, available in print and as a digital edition, that is published in Belfast. They publish the work of emerging photographers. They also engage with contemporary photography through news, features and reviews of the latest exhibitions and books from Ireland and the UK. The website brings together an archive of writing and pictures  from new and experienced photographers. The magazine is distributed throughout the UK, Ireland and internationally. It is also the longest running photographic review in the UK. 

Sources Graduate Photography online 2020 - is a way for graduating students to have their work put in the “Source” archive and also enter to be one of the selected for the next issue. Showcasing emerging photographic talent. 

To participate anyone interested on our course had to be submitted under the university name all together. The magazine creates a permanent promotional platform for graduates work on their website, which are seen long after our degree show. 

The individual web page on the sights shows up to 8 images that you submit, an artist statement, contact details and link to your website. 

From applying this year the professional opportunity for an in house photographer at the Royal Opera House in London, has been put forward due to “Source” teaming up with them. By taking part in the submission for BA graduate photography online this year you will be automatically considered for the role. 

There will be three leading photographers who will review all the submitted work and select their favourites. The selected choices are then published on the website and on a printed supplement.
